Today we are talking about being stressed and stuck tomorrow. We're going to talk about the price of procrastination because honey the price of procrastination is too expensive and ain't nobody got time for that and Sunday, the third part of the training. I'm going to walk you through setting up your winning season strategy. All right, so if y'all are ready to go, go ahead, comment below. I'm ready.
Let me know. Can make sure you got your pin and your paper. If you don't have a pen and paper, pull out a notebook, get your computer, your phone, something, take some notes. So today we're talking about being stressed and stuck. And one of the things that I know from talking to women, all over the world, is that covid-19 has created a lot of anxiety.
And people are getting stressed out because things keep changing. All right? It soon as we think we have a handle on it. It something else happens. We learn more information, you got this going on and that going on in so many moving pieces, and as a result of there, being so many moving pieces, people feel the stress and the anxiety from that, and it makes them feel stuck.
Because how can you plan when everything is changing every couple of weeks? It's really hard to plan. That's why I'm giving you this winning season strategy on Sunday. But today I want to tell you what to do. If you do feel stressed, and if you do feel stuck, I want to help you move past that.
So I have a few tips here. We're actually going to go through five of them. And these are from some of my Elite trainings that you all are getting for free this week. Now, I am going to tell you at the end. I'm going to give you all a special bonus for you to hop on a call with me for 15 minutes and I'm going to tell you about are resilient leaders program because that might be a good fit for some of you who feel stressed and stuff but Right now, I want to get into the good stuff.
The first thing that you need to do, if you're feeling stressed and stuff is don't ignore the problems. Okay, do not ignore all of the things that are going on. And yes, it's new things, every single day. Can anybody relate? Just in the past few months, how many new situations you've had to deal with, you had to deal with them, comment below and let me know just so I know, I'm not the only one going through.
All of these things Katrina, I see your comment. Katrina says she is ready. So first step to move past being stressed and stuck is do not ignore your problems. All right, and for some people, we got to break it down a little bit more and we got to get to a granular level. If you are feeling that moment where you have that stress and you feel stuck, go ahead and list out your problems.
Don't make it. This big grandiose thing. Don't overthink it. Pull out a little sticky note. Okay, just jot down.
Everything that's going on. That's step. Number one, right? Write down everything that's going on. That's going to help you to stop ignoring all of the different things.
What I know from research. Is that men do this and women do it too. When we have problems and they seem like they're compounding, what makes us feel stuck? As we think, I'm gonna just bury my head in the sand, close my eyes and hope that it goes away. I'm Dreaming.
This ain't happening right? Something's alone. That line. So the process of actually putting it on a little sticky note and acknowledging. Yes.
These are some challenges that's going to help you to acknowledge it to move forward. So when you write down those problems, ball it up and then boom, throw it, get rid of it. The next thing is make a plan. Okay, so step number one, don't ignore the problem. Step number two, make a plan and this is where we're going to go into detail on Sundays training where I give you that winning season formula.
So when you're making a plan, let me give you high level. This is a best practice that I use with all of my clients. Okay. This is what I call Elite secrets. So I'm giving you all the juicy stuff.
So this one you want to write down. When you make a plan, you want to make sure you have a date associated with it. Now typically when we make a plan, let's say you're saying, I need to update my LinkedIn profile if you need to update your LinkedIn. Profile cold. Ooh, that is a goal that you have a you can make a plan for that.
But if you're going to make it a real plan, you need to say, I'm going to update my LinkedIn profile by let's say August 3rd. So you'll put that on there. But if you don't know what to do to update your LinkedIn profile, you have to add some additional steps. So each additional step of you finding new information. All of that needs a date as well.
This is how you achieve a level of Mastery to get unstuck and Stop building stressed and overwhelmed because we're breaking down their plan. And like I said Sunday, I'm going to go into a lot of detail on this but that's an elite secret right there. Elite secret, every goal in micro goal has to have a date and it has to go on your calendar, not just writing it down in a notebook. You gotta put it in your electronic calendar. So that that bad boy pops up.
And you have that reminder. Does that make sense? Makes sense. If you feel me. If you understand, comment below, and let me know, Katrina said go to my earlier question.
She most definitely had to deal with a lot of problems as a result of Kobe. Yes, honey. We got all the things, but we can be resilient and we can overcome. So, we're talking about being stressed and stuck. And I told you the first step to get past being stressed and stuck.
Number one, don't ignore your problems. Number two, make plans number three is take action. This is where 2020 has been a challenge. Because how can we take action? And how can we do things?
When we have our lives being constrained because things are being shut down, right? Businesses are shut down or resources or shut down companies are not working fully operational. So there are so many additional obstacles to taking action. So when we talk about moving past stress and stuff and you got all of these obstacles that prevent you from from taking action. What do you do?
This is where you get creative. This is where you think outside of the box. So, everybody, I want you to think about some of the things you've been putting off what you're feeling stressed and stuff about Just Close Your Eyes for a second. I know it's Friday. Some of y'all might be in your office, but this is going to be quick.
Close your eyes for one second. Think about that. One thing that you feel stressed and stuff about keep your eyes closed. What is that? One thing that you feel?
Rest and stuck about. All right. Now, open your eyes. I told you that was going to be quick. How can you take action, that thing popped up in your head that quick?
How can you get creative to overcome whatever that is? And I know it's different for every person, right? Whatever came to mind first. That is your first action step and just write it down. Make it real when you see it in black and white, which is why I told y'all, y'all need to bring your notebooks to this training.
When you write it down in black and white, it helps you to see that the path to move forward is doable. You might have to get creative, you might have to maneuver but you can still do it. So don't ignore the problems. Make plans take action. Katrina says, electronic electronic calendar.
Reminders are Lifesavers. Yes, honey. Yes, and you know, what I do with my clients is I have them at me to those calendar reminders because you have an extra level of accountability. You can't just dismiss it. So when those things pop up on their You're it pops up on my calendar and they're getting a text from me or an email from me and I'm like, girl, what's good.
Are you doing this work? We got to get you moving faster. We got to get you unstuck. We got to take the stress out of this. So if you don't have a coach that you're working with get an accountability partner.
This is not typically going to be your best friend. Okay. Just want to make that clear. When you're adding someone to your electronic electronic, calendar. Invite.
Right. It doesn't need to be your best friend because your best friend knows everything that's going on in your life. They're going to give you a pass. Oh girl. That's okay.
We can pass today. You need somebody that's going to hold your feet to the fire so that you can take action, massive, radical action, and get things done. So, you can experience the next level of winning season. Do y'all feel me? Are you with me?
Comment below? Let me know if this is making sense. So number four, and number. It is something that we can all master number four is one of my favorites. Number four is believe in yourself.
Let me repeat that believe in yourself. If you feel stressed and if you feel stuck, all of the things are weighing on your shoulders, like you carry in a ton of break bricks right here and it's all Heavy, go ahead and wiggle your shoulders a little bit. All right, you have to believe that you Have the knowledge, the skills and you have enough grit to move forward. So let me give you an example. You know how, if you're going to work and you get stuck in traffic and you can see the exit.
It's like, writing your eyesight but there's too many cars for you to just get off that exit and take a back street. That's where you feel stuck and sometimes you feel stressed because this is a day where you have something important going on and you put all this extra traffic. What happens? You typically pause and you try to figure out what's going on. Was there an accident?
Is there, a construction, something, cause this unusual amount of traffic? So you figure out what's going on. So you're not ignoring the problem. Step number one, don't ignore the problem. So when you're in traffic, you're not ignoring it, you're accepting.
I have an issue here. And then number two, if you're stuck in traffic, you make a plan, you pull up your file, your GPS. And you're like, okay. What's the quickest way? I can get off this dinner.
State and take an alternative route, that is making a plan. That's number two. Okay, that's what we've been talking about. Going from stress and stuck and getting past all of that. And then number three is you take action.
Now, this is what I want y'all to know. When we're stuck in traffic. It's unexpected, we got something to do. This is just messing up our plans. We assess the situation, right?
We don't ignore the problem. We make a plan, pull up the GPS. What's an alternative route? And then we take action, how We move forward inch by inch. Even if it's five miles an hour.
We move a little bit forward and a little bit forward and a little bit forward and then eventually we're going to get off the exit. We have to apply that same concept to life. When you are feeling stressed and stuck. You gotta get to the point where you don't ignore the problem, except the reality to you make the plan 3, you take action and then step number four. I talked about believing in yourself.
None of us doubt the creativity of taking a new route. When we are stuck in traffic. You might be a person of habit, a woman of habit where you do the same thing all the time, but honey, when you stuck in traffic and you trying to get somewhere, you will take a new route that you have never taken before. Do y'all feel me? I know I'm not the only one who gets creative in that moment when you're trying to get from being stuck in traffic.
So at that point you don't doubt can I Do this. You're like, I don't know this way, but I'm gonna figure it out. I'm going to follow this. GPS is going to get me to my destination. Even if I've never taken that route before comment below.
I want to know if this is making sense for y'all. Because again, this is all about going from being stuck and stressed and getting you to moving to your next chapter of winning season. So step number five and this is something that we can all continue to work on in each chapter of Winning season is don't compare yourself to others when you feel stressed and stuck. The number one thing we tend to want to do is our a Katrina and CU is making sense. The number one thing we want to do when we feel stressed and stuck as look at the woman next to us.
Look at the woman on Instagram. Look at the woman over there and be like, well she doing it and she doing that that does not help us. It does not serve Us in the moments where you feel stressed and you feel stuck and you're Going to get out of it. You're trying to move forward. You have to give yourself an extra dose of positivity.
So y'all know I'm always sharing inside of the winning season Facebook group these quotes in these memes with these inspiring words about moving forward. And so, that's what you have to do. You have to continue to read the things that encourage you, listen to podcasts, that encourage you watch things on TV, that encourage you get off of Facebook. Sometimes, if you're a timeline is Not filled with positivity. You got to get off.
You can come hang out in the winning season, Facebook group. Are you can go hang out in a place, our online community, where there is extra positivity because in those moments where you want to compare yourself to others, that's a signal that one, you need to get creative on getting unstuck in your own situation, but also surrounding yourself with women who are going to push you to be the highest and grandest version of yourself, iron sharpens, iron. When you feel stuck and you feel like you need to compare, that's where you really need Community. You need a community of women around you like the winning season Community.
Hope will say I got you. Oh, you had this one today? It doesn't matter how small that when is I'm going to celebrate with you. So don't compare yourself to others. Make sure you're in a community of women who want more, who want to experience the next chapter of winning season.
So I told y'all, I had some homework for you. I'm about to give you your homework. I'm also going to give you all this bonus. Bonus bonus for watching live with me today. So I have this program.
All right, Hannah says, yes, perfect. Timing. Whitney says right on time. Yes. Yes.
Yes. So, if you're watching this or you're watching the replay today, you can book 15 minutes on my calendar. You're not going to book the 15. For today because rest of my day is booked, but I'm going to give you a free 15 minute chat with me. So if you're attending this weekend, you can get 15 minutes on my calendar.
I want to talk to you about how you need to get untie. You need to go from stressed and stuck and experience winning season. I have a four-week program. We're starting a group on August 1st, and it's called the resilient leaders program. This resilient leaders program is going to give you some Clarity.
It's going to help boost your confidence and is going to go even further into strategy of winning season and you get a community of women who are in your core hurts, who move forward with you through this game. And when I say the game, I just mean the Game of Life, this chapter winning season, which is 20/20. Whatever is new with what's impacted in our life with coronavirus. So the resilient leaders program is an application process. You have to Apply to go into this program, but I'll eat it.
You get online. Self-paced courses, you have workbooks each week, and then the bonus is you can deep dive with me live one-on-one for that period of the program, so I want you to book a call with me. If you need this program, or if you just want to talk to me about moving from stress and stuck, 15 minutes on my calendar. I'm going to drop the link below. So Let me recap before we go for today.
And I want to give you your homework. If you know other women who can benefit from this training today. Tomorrow. We're going to talk about the price of procrastination and honey. You don't want to miss that one, because ain't nobody got time to be wasting time and money with procrastination.
So recap, today to go from stress and stuck one, do not ignore your problems to make a plan 3. Take action for believe in yourself and five. Don't compare yourself. Others. So if you're going to do the homework comment below, hashtag homework, Jacqueline, I want this homework.
I want to do it. I want to experience winning season. Your plan for today is write down 1 through 5. This is your homework right now, 175, and I want you to go through, what are your problems, then? Make a plan.
The next thing I want you to put with your plans, some dates, on your calendar and number three. Three. When are you going to take action? Be very clear about how you're going to take action. So, let me go back to our example.
If your example is, I need to update my LinkedIn profile. I want you to write down exactly what you need to do. To update your LinkedIn profile and number four. I want you to write down a message to yourself one or two sentences of why you believe in yourself. And if you have ever struggled with comparing yourself to others, I want you to write.
Another note to yourself number five, about why you don't need to compare yourself to the woman over here in the woman over there. All right, do this homework, y'all, I guarantee you the women who do the work. When I do these trainings, they see phenomenal results. They see traction, they see growth because they do the work. So this is what winning season is.
It's about getting real acknowledging. What we have going on and moving to our next chapter. So Katrina is doing her. Homework. Hanna, are you gonna do the homework Whitney?
